Forms To Handle The Business- Romans 12:11 "Not slothful in business...serving the Lord

Romans 12:11 is very clear to the believer that the believer should not be "slothful in business".  The Greek word for "business" in that text is the word 'spoude' which means diligence.  The Bible tells us that as the Body of Christ, part of our service is to care for, and be eager and diligent in our affairs.  However, many find themselves unconcerned with their personal and day to day endeavors such as insurance, good credit, and future planning.

2 Kings 4:1-7 gives a frightening example of how a good, anointed, and gifted prophet of God went to be with the Lord, but left his family in dire straits and turmoil, because he had not properly planned for their future.  He didn't "handle the business".  Praise God for His miraculous power that provided for the widow in her husband's absence, but wisdom and planning would have saved his family the fear of failure.  We do not negate the power of a miracle from God, but He has blessed us with wisdom and understanding in order to enhance and structure our lives.  Proverbs 24:3-4 (Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.)

Listed under this page, are several forms and documents that are going to be beneficial in planning and structuring your future and inheritance for the next generation.  Please feel free to download and implement these principles in your life, bringing glory to God through your diligence and wisdom.

God bless, and handle the business...

Sample Will

Why do I need a will?  Isn't that prophesying death and doom into my life?  No.  It is a testimony of your personal wisdom, and commitment to the Scriptures.  The Bible says, "a good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children".  How else is an inheritance left, except through a will?

Hebrews 9:16-17 speaks of the "last will and testament" left to us of Jesus..."For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.  For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth."  The promise of eternal life that we walk in today, was "willed" to us by Jesus, but was only available after His death.  He thought enough of us, to have documented what is entitled to us through the Scriptures, the WILL of God!

Even, legally, a written will does several things...

  • It lets you decide who will get your property when you die.
  • It lets you name who handles your estate.
  • It makes it easier to administer your estate.  No one has to keep going to Court to ask permission to do simple business.
  • It avoids delay in getting your property to your heirs.

It lets you decide who holds property that you give to your children (or your grandchildren) until they are adults.

Please look over the attached document, and prepare your family for the future.  Jesus did it for us...
